Due to the expected cold weather arriving in London and the South East tonight, Southeastern is introducing a revised timetable to come into effect from Wednesday 6 January.
To help ensure we are able to run the best service possible in these weather conditions, Southeastern is implementing a revised timetable which will provide a reduced service across the Mainline and Metro networks. This will mean a limited number of trains arriving into London before 0900. All High Speed services will run as per the normal timetable.
The revised timetable will be loaded into National Rail Enquiries overnight. However the revised timetable may still be subject to possible disruption due to the weather conditions. All Southeastern ticket holders can use High Speed services while the revised timetable is in place at no extra expense. Tickets will be accepted on London Underground on reasonable routes.
Southeastern will continue to work with Network Rail to ensure the best service possible and it is expected the revised timetable will remain in place until the end of the week. Passengers who are registered at the website are being advised by email and text alerts and posters will be on display at stations.
Extra staff will also be on hand at many stations to help passengers, but we advise everyone to check National Rail Enquires to find out details of the revised timetable before travelling www.nationalrail.co.uk or call National Rail Enquiries on 0845 7 48 49 50).
