The Liberal Democrats' Federal Policy Committee (FPC) is changing the way it advertises for members to serve on Policy Working Groups. Rather than advertising for each group, it is now establishing a general panel of potential working group members from which it will draw in setting up individual groups. This panel will be re-advertised and renewed annually.
Party members wishing to be included on the panel for 2007 should fill in and return an application by Monday 22nd January 2007. An application form is available from the party website (http://tinyurl.com/y7po3o).
The FPC has already decided to set up new working groups covering the subjects of Further and Higher Education, Science and Europe early in 2007, so members with an interest in these subjects are particularly encouraged to come forward. We welcome applications from under-represented groups including women and ethnic minorities.
